Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Intern to support recruitment, staff management, and HR operations across our outlets. This role offers hands-on experience in real-world HR challenges in the F&B industry.

 

Learning Opportunities

  • Real exposure to HR operations in F&B industry

  • Learn recruitment, onboarding, and staff management

  • Understand handling of foreign workers and compliance

  • Experience in managing discipline and workplace culture

 

Internship Details

  • Duration: 3–6 months

  • Location: HQ located at Bandar Sri Damansara

  • Allowance: RM1,500.00

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1.    Recruitment & Hiring

  • Assist in posting job advertisements (JobStreet, social media, etc.)

  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates

  • Coordinate interviews for superior

  • Support onboarding process for new hires

 

2.    Staff Records & Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records (attendance, contracts, personal files)

  • Ensure proper documentation for all staff (especially foreign workers)

  • Support payroll preparation (attendance, OT records, leave tracking)

 

3.    Training & SOP Support

  • Assist in organizing staff training sessions

  • Help document and update SOPs (service, hygiene, discipline)

  • Track training completion and staff performance records

 

4.    Employee Engagement

  • Support internal activities (festive celebrations, team bonding)

  • Assist in staff communication and announcements

  • Gather feedback from staff to improve workplace environment

 

5.    Discipline & HR Compliance

  • Assist in documenting disciplinary cases (warning letters, reports)

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations

  • Support HR in handling staff issues professionally

 

6.    HR Reporting & Support

  • Assist in preparing HR reports (turnover, attendance, hiring status)

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and ad hoc tasks

 

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented

  • Able to handle confidential information professionally

  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
