About The Job
Position title: System Engineer
Reporting to: Director, Technology Services
Role & responsibilities:
This position is responsible for supporting Microsoft Cloud infrastructure, starting from implementation all the way to post implementation support, which covers incident management, diagnostic, testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.
As a System Engineer, your daily responsibilities are:
a) Ensure prompt, professional and courteous service is provided to our clients.
b) Deploy, configure and test technology solutions.
c) Troubleshoot and support issues related to technology solutions.
d) Prepare technical documentation.
e) Perform knowledge transfer to end-user.
f) Monitor client’s infrastructure.
g) Prepare daily/monthly/quarterly infrastructure health & performance report.
h) Liaise with external vendors/principles on support related issues and product
1. evaluation.
Technology portfolio:
As a System Engineer, you will be involved in the Microsoft technologies below on a daily basis.
1) Microsoft Windows Server operating system.
2) Microsoft Active Directory.
3) Microsoft Hyper-V server virtualization.
4) Microsoft System Centre suite.
5) Microsoft Office 365 cloud.
6) Microsoft AZURE cloud.
Requirement
We are looking for individuals who desires a future career in the IT field specializing in technical competencies. The core focus of this position is in deploying, maintaining and upgrading of On-premise, Virtualization and Cloud infrastructure within the Enterprise IT infrastructure running on Microsoft platform.
ü Malaysian citizen.
ü Minimum diploma in relevant Information Technology discipline or work experience in the Information Technology field.
ü Passionate about the inner-workings of Enterprise IT infrastructure.
ü A go getter who is an analytical thinker with good communication skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally & writing in English.
ü Able to work with minimal supervision and cooperatively in a team environment.
ü Has the ability to remain calm, prioritize requests and solve enquiries in a quick and efficient manner.
ü Proven ability to share time across multiple projects
ü Have your own transport and willing to travel within Klang Valley.
You will be in front of the application list if you have:
ü Past working experience as a System Engineer deploying Microsoft technology solutions is an added advantage.
ü Microsoft technical certification such as MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCTS/MCITP has an added advantage.
