Job Title: Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Java and PHP.
Design and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, design, testing, and deployment.
Continuously research and adopt new technologies and frameworks to improve development processes.
Need to work closely with China HQ IT team on system development, deployment coordination, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other frameworks).
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), MVC architecture, and RESTful services.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, or jQuery) is a plus.
Familiar with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
Experience working with APIs, JSON, and XML.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
1+ years of hands-on development experience with Java and PHP.
Proficiency in English (Mandarin is an added advantage) to facilitate smooth communication across regions.
