Chicken Claypot House | Management Trainee Programme

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and implement the restaurant's policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

• Throughout the program, you will be learning about principles of running a successful restaurant outlet:

ü Profit and Lost (PNL)

ü Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS)

ü Earning Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA)

ü Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value (QSCV).

• Gain a deep understanding of the restaurant's menu, food preparation, and kitchen operations to ensure quality and consistency.

• Learn and apply effective management techniques to supervise and motivate restaurant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, including resolving customer complaints and maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and conducting regular audits to minimize wastage and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Gain knowledge of financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis, to ensure profitability and financial success of the restaurant.

• Learn and implement marketing strategies to drive sales, such as promotions, events, and social media campaigns, to attract and retain customers.

• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, company policies, and procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, finance, and human resources, to gain a holistic understanding of the restaurant's operations.

• Demonstrate leadership skills by leading and motivating a team, resolving conflicts, and making decisions in the absence of the restaurant manager.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good command in English and/or Mandarin.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Basic understanding of financial concepts and ability to analyse financial data.

• Customer service orientation and ability to handle customer complaints professionally.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
